Flights resume as Malik takes notice of murder of PIA union leader

After strike of PIA employees that halt the air travel across the country, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday took notice of killing of PIA union leader Amir Shah.
Interior minister ordered to form a joint investigative team to probe into murder of Amir shah.
According to sources, this team would be included personnel of police and Federal Investigation Agency.
After assurance of Interior Minister, PIA staff called off strike and flights were resumed at all air ports of the country.
Earlier, employees of the Pakistan International Airlines went on a strike on weekend against the murder of president of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) PIA employee union Amir Shah.
Meanwhile, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Senior Staff Association President Samir Karamat and General Secretary Najeeb Khan while condemning killing of Amir Shah said that such incidents are regrettable. While talking to Online they demanded of the government to immediate take steps for bringing killers of Amir Shah to justice.
Shah, who also worked as former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s security guard in 2007, was killed in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi when unknown assailants opened fire on his car on Saturday evening.
