It has been observed that there is no proper system to register complaints against the police. Ordinary citizens suffer at the hands of the police, but do not have any option to file their complaints and any channel for the redress of their grievances.
They have to approach the legal system and a common man avoids the courts due to complicated procedures. As a concerned citizen, it is an appeal to the relevant authorities that a mohtasib/ombudsman should be appointed for the sole purpose of handling the complaints of police. The presence of a mohtasib/ombudsman will not only assist the citizens, but will also expedite the complaints regarding the police.
