An anti terrorism court on Friday released Javaid Anwar, Abdul Rehman and Abdullah involved in the deadly attack on Sri Lankan cricket team inMarch 2009 near Liberty Chowk on bail against the bail bond of one lac rupees each.
Earlier accused filed their bail applications submitting that they were nominated in the case after two year of the incident; secondly they had no criminal record in past and finally Supreme Court had already granted bail to alleged mastermind of the episode, thus the statutory right of bail of applicants has established in this case.
The court, after hearing the arguments granted bail to Javaid Anwar, Abdul Rehman and Abdullah directing them to submit bail bond of one lac rupees each accused.
