After completion of the housing census, the second phase of the population census is scheduled to start in August, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Shah, who is also the provincial president of the ruling party, asked the party leadership in Karachi to make preparations for participating in the second phase of the census. He issued these directives at the CM House during a meeting held with the city leaders of the ruling party. The party’s city president, Najmi Alam, and general secretary Saeed Ghani among others attended the meeting.
