Age relaxation plea

Recently, the chairman FPSC Justice (retd) Rana Bhagwandas has written a letter to Governor of Sindh and showed his concerns about the deteriorating standard of education in Sindh province, which is creating resistance in qualifying this competitive exam. As a result the quota allocated for the province is not being availed for the last 10 years.

As the Sindh government has revived the Commissionerate System in the province with the intention to strip the country off dictatorial reforms carried out under Gen Musharraf. In order to bring about LG Ordinance 2001, the ex-President had to redesign whole administration and cut the CSS exam age limit to control the supply of civil servants i.e., from 30 years to 28 years. In addition to it he had also narrowed the grant of age relaxation to government employees.

In this regard, it is requested to the PM/Presidentto restore the previous age limit for appearing in CSS. Otherwise, it is generally believed that all governments make reforms to suit their own interests, not to fulfil the public aspirations. This is much coveted and demanded change the PPP government should make.
