Afghanistan consulate in Peshawar has once again refused to issue visas to twenty-four women belonging to Punjab who want to visit a Muslim preaching convention being held in Afghanistan.
“This is the second time we are being denied a visa,” Shaheda Parveen, from Faisalabad, said while talking to Pakistan Today. “We came in June also,” she added.
Yasmeen Bibi seconded her statement and said that Afghan Consulate General Saeed Ibrahim Khel had bluntly refused to issue visas to them.
“They should not have announced that they will be issuing visas if this was what they were going to do,” Nasreen told Pakistan Today.
Saeed Ibrahim was not available for comments.
