Sassui condoles on Jabbar Junejo’s death

The Sindh Culture Department has condoled on the death of prominent Sindhi writer Dr Abdul Jabbar Junejo.
A statement issued by the department paid rich tributes to Junejo and said that his death had created a vacuum in Sindhi literature. Junejo was a bold writer, an intellectual, a researcher, a poet, a critic and a linguistic expert.
He has over 100 books to his credit that include stories, poetry, novels, folk literature and compilations.
Sindh Culture Minister Sassui Palijo also expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely death of Junejo and declared his death an unforgettable loss to Sindh literature. She lauded his services for Sindhi literature, which could not be forgotten. She prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace and grant courage to his family members to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
