Police beat WAPDA while the other two matches of the day in the Pakistan Premier League (PPL) Football 2011 ended in a goal less draw on Tuesday. Police scored one goal to leave former champions WAPDA stunned at Sadiq Shaheed Stadium, Quetta.
The credit of the win goes to Asad who converted the goal in the 65th minute of the game after several attempts. In the other two encounters where Afghan FC faced KRL at the same venue and HBL clashed with PAF at Peoples Football Stadium, Karachi, not a single goal was scored and the teams shared the points of drawn games.
