No more “Yes, boss”

“Gone are the days of Yes Boss to America”. These are the very words of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani while talking to the Lahore Press Club governing body members at his DHA Lahore residence on Saturday. He also declared that he and his government had resolved to never let any body hurt national interests. His party jialas might have been impressed by such hoax slogans but not the ever vigilant media and the intelligentsia of the country. Such declarations are made by those whose hands are clean and enjoy the respect of the entire nation.

There is only one boss of our PM and he is the president, also a puppet in the hands of USA. The day he goes against the wishes of White House or does not say “Yes, boss” to Uncle Sam, that day would be his last day as President of Pakistan. All important cabinet meetings are chaired by Mr Zardari and the PM sits next to him for media coverage. He should also issue warning to the USA for halting all drone attacks and vacating all Pakistani bases immediately.

Furthermore, all CIA operators/contractors who are creating havoc in Pakistan must leave our country forthwith. We have an example of North Korea and Iran who warned USA to keep their hands off of their countries. But our rulers are getting dollars from them and cannot eat grass along with the nation if all the aid is stopped. They have got used to the royal style of living with thousands of policemen deployed for their safety which costs millions of rupees everyday to the national exchequer.

So Mr Prime Minister, pleas don’t make hollow slogans as actions speak louder than words.
