Close relatives gunned down six people, including four of the same family, in order to get hold of disputed agricultural land in Bangal Meo area of Muridke on Tuesday. The five people that fall prey to the attack included a mother, father, their son and an ill-fated passer by. The killers had earlier killed the grandfather and grandson of the same family. The son and father were on their way to a court hearing in Ferozwala.
Per details, Muhammad Aslam and his son Muhammad Shafqat were on their way to Ferozwala court when one Rizwan asked for a lift up till Narang Mor.
The attack came at Narang Mor when three armed men opened indiscriminate fire on the vehicle, killing all three on the spot.
A passer by, Ashiq, was also killed in the attack.
