A young man was gunned down over honour near Pir Jo Goth on Monday. Police said that four armed men had attacked Saghis Ahmed Shaikh and shot him dead at Jhabar Shaikh village near Sadarji Bhatyoon. His body was brought to the Pir Jo Goth for medico-legal formalities and handed over the heirs. The local police have lodged a case and initial investigation suggests that the man was over karo-kari.
SHOT DEAD: Another youngster was shot dead in Pir Jo Goth on Monday allegedly over an old enmity. According to details, unidentified armed men attacked Asghar Langhah in Sallar Mohalla Pir Jo Goth, killing him on the spot while the assailants were able to flee from the spot. The body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs after post-mortem from the Pir Jo Goth hospital.
BODY FOUND: The body of an unidentified old woman was found near the railway station on Monday.Khairpur police found the body of a woman aged around 60 years, which was shifted to the civil hospital for medico-legal formalities.
