The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has submitted a requisition in the Senate Secretariat to summon the House, Leader of the House in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri told Pakistan Today on Monday.
Last week, opposition parties including the PML-N and MQM had submitted similar requests to discuss the recent violence in Karachi, defiance of superior court’s orders and massive rigging in the recently held AJK elections. The opposition had virtually pushed the Fazl-led party into isolation by not taking it on board while submitting requisitions.
