The Sharif brothers do not have a future and mid-term elections and grand alliance is their last ditch effort, President Pakistan People’s party (PPP) Imtiaz Safdar Warraich said while talking to reporters on Monday.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had tried to rig the poles while the PPP had prevented this from happening, he said, adding that PML-N should let the masses decide. Nobody would fall for the Sharif brothers’ ploy of the grand alliance, he said, adding that the Punjab government had not complied with the orders of reinstated rangers in the city.
He said the situation in Karachi was the result of Nawaz Sharif’s statements.
PPP candidates for Azad Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sardar Maqsood Uzaman, President PPP Lahore Samina Ghurki, General Secretary PPP Punjab Samiullah Khan, Deputy General Secretary Usman Malik, Hasnat Shah, Hafiz Ikhlaq and Faiza malik were also present.
