Wajid Ali and Palwasha Basheer won the singles title of the 13th Ameer Abdullah Khan Rokhri Ranking Badminton Tournament 2011. Sara Mohmand and Palwasha Basheer won the women’s doubles title while Rizwan Azam and Sara Mohmand (NBP) claimed the mixed doubles final.
In men’s singles final National Ranking No.1 Wajid Ali (WAPDA) bt Ahsan Qamar (PIA) in hard fought three sets match by 21-17, 18-21, 21-16. In women’s singles final Palwasha Basheer (NBP) bt Sadia Arshad (WAPDA) in straight sets by 24-22, 21-11. In women’s doubles final Sara Mohmand & Palwasha Basheer (NBP) bt Saima Waqas & Farzana Ali (WAPDA) in straight sets by 21-14, 22-20. In mixed doubles final Rizwan Azam & Sara Mohmand (NBP) bt Waqas Ahmed & Saima Waqas (WAPDA) by 21-15, 21-17. The Provincial Assembly Punjab Speaker Rana Iqbal Khan was the chief guest of the ceremony.
