Sindh Chief Minster (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah has changed the portfolios of two Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ministers, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and Manzoor Wasan, assigning Mirza the portfolios of works and services, forests and prisons and elevating him to the status of the second-most senior minister in the Sindh cabinet behind Pir Mazharul Haq.
Mirza said his priorities would remain the same after assumption of his new portfolio. “Those who were our own yesterday are no more our own today. But we hope the outgoing will not sabotage peace and will strengthen our hands in Sindh,” he said.
