Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Javed Iqbal on Saturday approved the establishment of 11 new police stations in the province with three new police stations likely to be set-up in Multan shortly. Three police stations would be established in Nawab Town, Mustafa Town and Sundar, Lahore. Similarly, one police station (PS) each would be setup in Housing Colony, Sheikhpura, Sialkot Airport, Sialkot, Sadar Wah Cantt, Rawalpindi, Satellite Town, Jhang, Chidru in Musa Khail, Mianwali, Raja Ram in Shujabad, Multan and two would be setup in DG Khan namely PS Gadai and PS Taunsa Sharif. Also, three new police stations namely PS Shah Rukan-e-Alam, PS Bahauddin Zikeria and PS Shah Shams would be established in Multan on immediate basis.
