Opposition should join hands against greater evil, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said on Friday. Talking in a private TV channel, Nawaz called the government “a greater evil” and urged the opposition parties to form a joint strategy. He lashed out at President Asif Ali Zardari and said presidents’ alliances were of no importance. He wished to have eth JUI and the JI on board but expressed reservations about Imran Khan.
“How can Imran Khan bring revolution with people like Jazi Khan?”
He expressed grave concerns about the situation in Karachi. “If Rehman Malik knows who are responsible for Karachi violence why can’t he tell us?” he asked.
He said people had tried to create misunderstandings between him and Shahbaz Sharif but “the plan didn’t work”. Nawaz alleged massive rigging in Kashmir polls.
