After filing requisition for summoning of National Assembly session, the PML-N and MQM have submitted requisition with the senate secretariat for summoning of the session of the upper house.
The requisition was filed by PML-N Senator Ishaq Dar and MQM senator Tahir MUshadi. The requisition consists of signatures of 33 members out fo which 25 are those who had nominated senator Ishaq Dar for opposition leader, 6 of MQM and 2 of FATA.
Sources told online that the requisition is based on 3 points agenda which are failure of government to bring law and order in Karachi, ignorance of Supreme Court orders and rigging in the AJK general elections.
Sources told that according to the rules Chairman Senate is bound to summon the session within 14 days of filing of requisition.
