Case registered against advocate AK Dogar, junior

Old Anarkali Police on court orders registered a case against renowned advocate AK Dogar and his junior associate Feroz Shah Gilani, Pakistan Today learnt on Thursday. Dogar and Shah were contesting a writ petition against President Asif Ali Zardari for holding two offices in the high court.
According to Old Anarkali Police naib moharrar, another advocate Affaq filed a writ petition in the court of Additional District and Sessions judges Muhammad Tariq and Muhammad Shafi against Dogar and Gilani.
The petition claimed that Dogar and Gilani owned an organisation in the name of Foundation of Pakistan. He stated that Dogar posed to be a lawyer of the Supreme Court whereas he did not have sufficient documents to prove it. Gilani was also not a lawyer and was looting people by posing to be one.
He claimed that both advocates had connections with anti-state agencies and protected criminals.
The additional and session judges, after considering the petition true, ordered for registration of a case against Dogar and Gilani after which case no 504 was registered against the two under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
