Azme Alishan’s song competition

The National Song Competition-Season 2 of the national Azme Alishan social movement will be aired from July 9 with 30 amateur singers competing to become Pakistan’s next Voice of the Nation. The live finale will be aired on August 14 with a celebrity panel, including Fuzon, will pick the winner. There will be 10 finalists – one winner from each qualifying round. The 30 short-listed singers were selected from over 100 entries received between April 4 and May 15. They include contestants from all parts of the country. This year’s competition will also mention some of the charity organisations and good causes at work in the country that will reflect a better, more positive image of Pakistan. This year’s song competition is a platform for young Pakistanis to express themselves through their music for the betterment of Pakistan. The competition will highlight and support social and charitable causes through its contestants who will uphold a particular cause and dedicate their song to a leading Pakistani organisation working for it.
