Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) will organise the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto ‘Jeevay’ Pakistan National Badminton Championship from July 14 to 20 here at the Rodham Hall Pakistan Sports Complex.
All the affiliated units of the PBF, Islamabad, WAPDA, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber PK, Army, Railways, FATA, HEC, Police and Gilgit-Baltistan will take part in the event. Former national champion and coach Javed Iqbal will act as a referee, while international umpire Waseem Zaman will act as his deputy referee.
Islamabad Badminton Association former vice president Mian Waqas Masud will be the organising secretary of the event. The prize money of the event is Rs200,000.
