Court seeks NAB’s response on Hamesh Khan’s treatment plea

An accountability court on Thursday sought reply from NAB authorities on an application filed by former president of Bank of Punjab Hamaish Khan seeking a comprehensive medical check-up from senior doctors.
Hamish Khan, the main accused in BOP scam case, filed an application in the accountability court submitting that he was not feeling well in the prison and needed a complete medical check-up from a team of senior doctors.
He complained that he was not getting sufficient medical facilities there and it was affecting his health. He prayed to the court to issue directives for his treatment. The court on Thursday directed the NAB authorities to submit their reply in this regard until July 11.
Hamaish Khan who is also a US national is the
main accused in BOP scam case that involves embezzlement of Rs12 billion.
