The Pakistan Hockey Federation has planned a test series against Egypt junior team, to give a more international exposure to the national junior team. An official of the PHF said: “To further groom the junior hockey team and to give them a more exposure internationally, we have managed five match test series against Egyptian junior hockey team in the month of August 2011.
“The dates are yet to be finalised and the series will be played in Egypt,” he added. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Hockey Federation has invited Pakistan junior team to participate in a Six-Nation Hockey Tournament. The event named as, First Sultan Ibrahim Cup Hockey Tournament will be played at Johar from November 5 to 12. The PHF has confirmed to the organisers for the participation of its junior team in the event.
