EPZA records tremendous export of $568 million Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA), during the financial year July 2010-June 2011 has recorded exports of $568 million, as compared to exports of $411 million in 2009-10. This shows a tremendous increase of $ 157 million during the year under review.
The authority is, however, determined that it will achieve the bench mark of $ 1 billion by 2015. This significant growth in exports reflects the confidence of investors in EPZA and its policies.
It also indicates that EPZA is doing well to fulfill its mandate for enhancement in exports.The performance of EPZA has been a substantial contribution for economic growth of the country.
