Crown Club beat Mahboob Park Gymkhana by five wickets in a friendly match at the Iqbal Park cricket ground on Tuesday. Mahboob Park Gymkhana scored 232 runs in 35 overs. Haris (25), Khurrum (35) and Ahmed (31) were the impressive batsmen for Mahboob Park. Crown Club’s Shafqat Bhatti took four wickets for 37 and Khaldoon grabbed three for 31. In reply, Crown Club achieved the target after losing five wickets in 31 overs. Waqas Ijaz (75), Khaldoon (48) and Usman Bashir (38) were the prominent batsmen for Crown Club., while Mahboob Park’s Zeeshan and Haris shared two wickets each. In the end, Waqas Ijaz was awarded the man of the match.
