During a celebrity struck evening with leading women from across various professional spheres, Citi recently celebrated its 50th year in Pakistan (1961-2011) at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi. This 50 year celebration also combined the Global Diversity Week initiative at Citigroup, which is celebrated each year to reiterate our commitment to the principles of responsible finance, respect and inclusion at the workplace and beyond.
Each year, Pakistan is given special recognition across over 100 Citi geographies, as a result of its innovations in the diversity space in the country. The theme for this year’s global Diversity Week was ‘Perceptions’: i.e. the unique ways in which each of us views the world around us. Respect for these views is what motivates the ingenuity that Cit inspires.
