Prices of groceries in Karachi have skyrocketed in the past month ahead of Ramazan as shopkeepers are fleecing the citizens by selling products on their desired prices, Pakistan Today has learnt. The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) circulates a new price list every 15 days, but fails in implementing its designated prices. The citizens are facing immense problems owing to the irresponsible behaviour or the CDGK and are forced to buy grocery at the self-set prices of shopkeepers.
