National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will validate “Annand Karraj” – a marriage certificate issued by a Gurdwara for verifying the Sikh marriages. NADRA would get these certificates verified from the Gurdwara concerned and Pakistan Sikh Council (PSC). The development has come as result of a meeting held the other day between NADRA Deputy Chairman, Tariq Malik and PSC’s 5-member delegation.
Malik told the delegates that NADRA was following the government’s policy to facilitate minorities in the process of national data registration.
PSC Chairman Sardar Ramesh Singh appreciated NADRA’s services being offered to the minorities of the country.
