Afghan Army once again fires mortar shells into Pakistan

Violating Pakistani borderline once again, Afghan forces fired 4 mortar shells on Tuesday that landed inside Pakistan in Kurram Agency whereas no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
Afghan Forces keeping their course of violating Pakistani borderline fired four mortar shells from Paktia province located near border which fell in unpopulated area.
Tensions among both governments have been increasing since cross-border attacks started.
Meanwhile, according to a local TV, militants fired numerous mortar shells from the hills of Pewar and Tangi areas of Kurram Agency which aroused clashes among tribal groups and insurgents. Heavy weaponry was used by both sides, killing three persons whereas several sustained injuries.
In addition, according to the Political Administration, more than two thousand men migrated from the central Kurram. Director General FATA Disaster Management Authority Arshad Khan said 235 families are residing in the tents whereas other families took refuge in their relatives’ houses. Thirty-five trucks loaded with goods comprising food items, tents and other necessary items were sent for the affectees.
