Abbottabad Commission to take briefing from senior military leadership

Abbottabad Commission set up for probing the Osama Bin Laden killing has decided to take briefing from senior military leadership on all matters.
According to sources, the all important meeting of Abbottabad Commission was held under the able leadership of senior most judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Chairman of the Commission Justice Javed Iqbal on Tuesday in Islamabad.
The other members of the commission are Abbas Khan Ashraf Jahangir Qazi, Lt Gen (retd) Nadeem Ahmed and Secretary of Commission Secretary Cabinet Division Nargis Sethi.
The commission gave formal approval of Code of Conduct of the Commission while Secretary Nargis Setthi informed the commission on the ongoing investigations and concerned record.
Online was told that next meeting will be held on July 11 in which Abbottabad Commission set up for probing the Osama Bin Laden fiasco will again take the matter of presence of OBL in Pakistan while it has been told that Commission will summon DG Military Operations and other military officials in its next meeting.
Sources added that Commission is totally independent and has the power to summon any person/individual.
The Commission decided that any person can record its statement in front of the Commission while an advertisement has also been published by the Commission besides Commission has the right to directly interview any person anytime.
Last but not the least if required Commission can visit the compound of Osama Bin Laden to collect evidences or any proof in this regard, sources concluded.
