It is evident now that Mr Nawaz Sharif has missed the boat. For three years, he kept rejecting PML(Q) and MQM, satisfying his ego and now suddenly he has woken up from deep slumber. In chess if you do not make the right move at the right time, you loose and that goes for the politics too.
By now he should know that Mr Zardari has outmaneuvered him in all the games. PPP has 127 seats, ANP has 13, whereas PML(Q) has 50. It is well above 172 required to stay in the government. Or is it that Mr Nawaz Sharif thinks that by taking MQM in his fold, he will be able to topple the government? With their support, does he achieve the magical figure of 172? No point crying over spilt milk now. You have to wait for the next elections but before that, can you claim winning any seat in the other three provinces? If you want to be a force to be reckoned with, better concentrate there. You still have few sensible people in your ranks, better listen to their advice. Otherwise, Mr Zardari is too smart for you.
