2 die, 10 injure during a protest in Mianwali

At least two persons were killed while 10 others were injured when they came under the police fires, shelling and baton charge during a protest against power load-shedding here on Monday, sources said.
According to the details, the people of area staged protest against the worst power load-shedding in the area. Police fired tear-gas and aerial firing on the protesters to disperse them. The police also restored baton charge on the protesters.
As a result, two persons were killed while 10 others were injured.
After the incident, the protesters burnt a police vehicle while the protesters also hurled stones on DCO and injuring him.
The DCO was shifted to District Headquarters Mianwali where the protesters tried to enter in the premises of the hospital.
Police started investigation of the incident
