Human trafficking is increasing in several countries. This is pushing people into bondage and slavery. Many countries are working together to stop this phenomenon.
Some of these countries have made progress. While countries like Philippines used to send their people overseas to work in difficult circumstances, they have now changed their practices and made rules in this regard.
These measures are appreciable but much needs to be done before anything satisfactory can be said about this practice. Modern day slavery is a menace for the world. People must be free of all kind of bondage and slavery. Only then it can be called a free and fair world.
