A complete shutter-down strike was observed across Balochistan on Saturday to protest the murder of noted Baloch leader Ghafar Langov. The Baloch National Front had called the strike after the body of Langov was recovered from Lasbella on Friday. All business activities across the province remained closed throughout the day, especially in Khushab, Mand, Baldella, Timp, Khuzdar, Panjgor, Mastung, Mangichar, Awran, Pasni and Kallat. Bank and medical stores also remained closed in a number of areas. Additional contingents of security personnel were deployed across the province patrolling maintain law and order.
