As a gesture of solidarity with the Pakistan Army in its war against terror and a tribute in the memory of Shaheed Benzazir Bhutto, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)-Sindh leaders have sent 1,000 bags of donated blood to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and another 600 bags for the Pakistan Army personnel. These donated blood bags were sent aboard PIA flights to Islamabad and Peshawar on Friday.
In a message on the occasion, PPP-Sindh President and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that the donation of 23,000 bags of blood by the PPP-Sindh on the 58th birth anniversary of Benazir was a humble tribute to the beloved leader. The workers and office bearers of the PPP-Sindh wish to express their firm resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with their brethren in Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who had given great sacrifices in the war against terror and religious extremism.
