For once, Wapda has spoken the truth by informing the public that the menace of load-shedding cannot be eradicated from the country until 2018.
The only solace for the public in this regard is that they would not be living by any false hopes about the end of load-shedding any time soon. Though, considering the past record of Wapda, there is every chance that this deadline may not be met and a new date may be announced. This is particularly true if we do not build any dams or other large scale infrastructure for power generation.
