A 22-year-old young man died after he was administered a wrong injection by a quack medic in Mohammad Din Colony in Shalimar police limits on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Tanveer, son of Khalid Saeed of Madina Colony Shalimar. Police said Tanveer was having some medical complications and he visited Hanif Clinic for treatment where Dr Iftikhar administered him a wrong injection. After a while, Tanveer’s condition turned critical and he died on the spot. Police said that the victim family got a case registered against quack doctor Iftikhar and his assistant paramedic under Section-319 of PPC.
