There is another alarming report in the press that the governments of Pakistan Afghanistan, besides UNHCR, have jointly prepared a comprehensive policy to be announced by UNHCR soon that would allow Pakistani citizenship to those Afghan who would invest an amount of Rs five crores in Pakistan. Nevertheless, such persons will have to abandon Afghan nationality whereas this offer will be effective after 2012.
Furthermore, those Afghanis who are already living in Pakistan, they would get work visa for five years in case they would invest Rs fifty lakhs in Pakistan as stated in the package.
Giving Afghans Pakistan’s nationality is highly alarming as it would have adverse repercussions on Pakistan in the long run. Many of them indulge in narcotics and illegal arms and ammunition besides smuggling business. Therefore, such a package is bound to add only miseries to Pakistan. The record shows they would settle in big cities, like Karachi and Lahore, which are already treated as sensitive cities due to various reasons.
I appeal to the Pakistan government to revise this policy towards Afghan refugees and all efforts should be made to send them back to their country as soon as possible. And the decision to grant them nationality and extension of their visas must be taken back in the national interests.

Mr. MOHAMMAD KHAN SIAL,
I am an 29 years old Afghan was born here in Pakistan and also completed my studies here in Pakistan.
Currently I am working as a Freelance Software Developer and providing services to several international clients from Germany, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.
I do not agree with your appeal about Afghan's because all Afghan's are not involved in illegal activities and as you knew better every nation or society has bad and good people.
I am an Afghan But I love Pakistan more then any Pakistani national because I was born here, spent my childhood days here in Pakistan and I just went to Afghanistan just once or twice for acquiring my Afghan ID Card and travelling document (Passport) Therefore I am thinking I am a Pakistani and Pakistani government decision about Afghan's is good decision and I am thinking why Pak government took too much time in making this good decision.
For you kind information acquiring Pakistani ID Card for any Pakhtun Afghan is only worth Rs.30000 to Rs.35000 But people like who do not want to be Pakistani by using an illegal way is waiting for such good decisions of Pakistan Government.

Sayed karim thanks for your nice message.
Afghan may be involved in crimes but this number is too limited, majority of Afghans are peace loving and do not do anything against the law.
The limited numbers of Afghan who are involved in illegal activities are due to the weakness of law enforcement authorities. The reality which i observed, behind every Afghan who is involved in illegal activities there is a strong support of Pakistani White Collars. These people support Criminal Afghans in every aspect.
Without giving support and taking bribe from Afghan nothing could be done.
Im an Afghan National living in Pakisan, i spent my whole life in Pakistan and trust me i love Pakistan more than any Pakistani, becz im born here, educated and we are dissolved in this culture and it will be very difficult for us to settle in Afghanistan…
I fought so many times with those people who are against Pakistan. All of my best friends are Pakistani,some1 from Lahore, peshawar even from every area of PAK. If i love Pakistan and i can give my life for Pakistan then why shouldnt be i called as Pakistani. And people who think that Afghanis indulge in criminal offences and smuggling so let me tell u onething that good and bad people exist in every society and one should nt hit the majority just becz of the minority….. We love pakistan and this is a good step to give them Pak nationality…….thanx Zia
the price is so high pakistan is not that much advance country , if i have 5 coror Rs: so why should i live in pakistan it is stuped,
5 crore who has i think they can live in every country around the world but 5000000 IS OK
🙂 WHERE AND HOW I MAY APPEAL FOR PAKISTANI NATIONALITY ??ANY BODY KNOWS PLEASE INFORM ME
all my afghan brother please go back to your home country and leave Pakistan for the sake of god as Pakistan is created for the muslims of indo pak thank you u have lived enough here and the world is very wide it is not limited to pakistan
It is honour for Pakistan that Afghan like to reside in pakistan, because i found afghnies as honest, hardworkers, best Muslim's, Brave, and love to pakistan. I found no afghan to demand for charity,or use irrespectable methods for earning.
The Best reson to treat afghnan's as Pakistan's is that both countries are Muslims, There is no border between muslim countries. All Muslims are one Unit, one body by the order of ALLAH.
It is shame for us that Amercan's, British's and Russian's like to be United State of America, United Kingdom, USSR but we disobay the order's of Almighty Allah.
The only reson of our failur is that we are divided in religious, tradational, national or other groups.
May Allah Make us one unit and we proude to be Muslims.

Sir,
All afghans are don't have criminal record I was born in Peshawar and we spend very good time with our Pakistani Neighbors even we have relation with them.
so there should be role for whom born in Pakistan give them nationality.
with best regards
getting nationality mean to identify a person location and some other personal information its not important from which country you have i have british nationality and my birth place is peshawar tehkal now i have two kids they same, my father come from afg when he was young. so we all love pakistan its our home country and respect all_ its our big weakpoint that if a person commit a crime so its not fair that we blame all the nation. u know recently i represent pakistan in germany in some cultural program i proudly announced.
my dear friends i am 28 years old. my grand parents and parents come from Afganistan but i borne in Pakistan. now i dont want to go back because i have spent my whole life in Pakistan. In my whole life i go to Afganistan one time when i was almost in 5th class not after that. i feel so many problems in my daily life in government departments. when i go to any government departmnet for any thing first reply i heard is that you are pathan which disappoint me very much. some time i think i have no country. when 14th August come i think am i Afghani or Pakistani. Afghanistan i cant go back and Pakistan is not accepting me.
Allah pak kisi ko refuge na bana ay. Ameeeeeeen
Roohullah I have the same feeling
This can be true that a number of afghans are involved in the crimes but not the whole nation so, what is the fault of the others, and Afghani should use pay for essay papers to improve their English skills are they are illiterate with the English. Pakistan gave a huge number of Afghani’s nationality, other counties should do this.
guys my name is nadeem khan. im pashton, born and raise in pakistan family background from afghanistan. i love both countries because they are muslims, stop fighting on a piece of land, it does not matters where u from what matters is how u treat people. I bet all of you guys you not gonna take afghanistan or pakistan with you in grave, you will be buried in this land, and you not gonna be question what country you were from, being a paki aur afghani is not a ticket of heaven. Muhammad (S.A.W.W) never proud where is he from. Follow that mentality, government dogs only know how to get benefits from people emotions, they dont care where u from, stop following what they say. May ALLAH give prosperity success to both of countries.
Long live Pakistan and Afghanistan.
ohhh this is not a good appeal as i was born in Mardan i am now here for 17 year in karachi i was just 2 years when i came to karachi and i have never gone to afghanistan and mardan i am now 2nd year science student so where i would go? That would be heartbreaking time for me when Pakistan my country take me out from my own country i have never seen afghanistan how are they how are they talk and we have proof that we are leaving here in Pakistan for 35 years……..Think about it
if Pakistan cannot give citizenship to foreigner .then why every Pakistani is applying for US and Europe citizenship themselves they are burden on those economies too.and also involved in petty crimes.
anyone should be allowed to apply for Pakistani citizenship .if somebody wants to live here peacefully .they should be allowed for as long as they want.these should be the rules.
a born pakistani.
