The issue of resignation of Dr Ishratul Ebad as the Sindh governor has become a mystery as spokesperson for the President House has denied that it had received any resignation letter from the Sindh governor.
Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khuhro has also refused to receive resignations of provincial ministers of the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement, saying he was an acting governor. He also said that the Sindh governor would himself receive and approve the resignations.
On the other hand, MQM Rabitta Committee Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar said that Dr Ishratul Ebad had delivered his resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari.
