A Hindu priest who had demanded the sacrifice of three minor daughters of a Hindu couple was arrested late on Thursday night by Mirpurkhas police. Mirpurkhas District police chief Riaz Ahmad Soomro said the priest, Kheto Mal Bheel, was arrested for harassing three minor Hindu sisters, asking them to be sacrificed to please his goddess. Soomro told Pakistan Today that the priest would be produced in court on Friday for remand. A case was registered with the town police station against Bheel and his assistant.
