Special Judge Anti-Corruption Mahboob Qadir Shah on Thursday acquitted four Lahore Development Authority (LDA) directors and 37 staffers who were involved in an illegal high rise plaza case.In the proceedings, the court observed that the LDA authority had not conducted proper inquiry before filing the case. According to the case filed by LDA authorities, the accused officials facilitated the plaza owners in constructing their mega projects in the posh areas of the city without approval of building plans from LDA. The court acquitted all the accused and directed the LDA authorities to carry out a departmental inquiry.
