National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has recently converted its Islamabad and Quetta regions to completely online status. This is in line with the bank’s strategy to convert majority of its branches to online status by the end of this year for which work is going on at fast pace to achieve this objective.
NBP has recently initiated a number of IT projects to make the bank one of the most technologically advanced financial institutions in the country. Currently the bank is in the implementation phase of the core banking system which is one of the largest IT projects and covers all the banking functions for maximum convenience of the customers.
