After submitting resignations, Member National Assembly (NA) and leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Haider Abbas Rizvi has said that his party would play a positive role as an opposition party and they would not participate in any game to derail the government.
Talking to media here on Thursday, he said that his party admitted its mistakes as they supported the PPP government.
About the opposition alliance, Rizvi said that his party in contact with other opposition parties and leaders including Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman but no final decision was made so far in this regards.
He said “the MQM is in opposition and also act as opposition”.
He said that his party would sit in opposition benches in next session of the Assembly.
About Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad, he said that he was the citizen of Pakistan and will come Pakistan again. He said that all false case against Ishrat had finished.
