Former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) MNA Marvi Memon has accused Chaudhry Brethren of selling themselves out to PPP-led government over their personal interests.
Addressing a crowded press conference at Rajanpur State Life office, she strongly denied that she had resigned over her failure to garner any portfolio, and vowed that she had resigned strictly over principles in order to ensure the downfall of the inept government.
She also denied that she was forming her own political party, joining any other political party, or was ever contemplating joining any forward block.
“I have come out to ensure the supremacy of the Parliament, and have been disbursed justice from judiciary”, adding that she was in favor of a separate province for Southern Punjab, in order to address the grievances of that region. She further said that she would contest her next elections from Thattha.
Is this called political wisdom or striving hard for personal gains? She is in dire need of securing ticket from PML-N for the next general elections.
