Zulfiqar Mirza to take oath as Sindh chief minister on Friday?

Sindh Home Affairs Minister Zulfiqar Mirza is likely to take oath as Sindh chief minister on Friday while the incumbent, Qaim Ali Shah, would retire “with honours”, Pakistan Today learned on Tuesday.
A source in the Pakistan People’s Party said that Mirza, who was in Badin on Tuesday, had shared the information with some close friends. He had also invited some advisers for breakfast on Wednesday, the source added. Asked whether Senator Faisal Abidi was going to replace Ishratul Ebad Khan as Sindh governor, the source said he might be a choice for the slot.
However, another PPP leader denied the information, saying this could be a bid to upset the MQM, the former coalition partner.
