The Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 director general (DG) on Monday suspended the community safety officer concerned and boat driver and constituted a committee to probe into the incident of drowning of two boys in the Chenab River during a flood preparedness exercise in Multan. Nouman Noor, deputy director (F&R) and Muhammad Ahsan, emergency officer (O&A), have been assigned to investigate into the incident. The DG said that the Rescue 1122 condoles with the grieving families.
