IBM launched Cognos 10, a flagship Business Intelligence solution on April 26, 2011. IBM Pakistan Country Sales Manager Adnan Siddiqui in his opening note highlighted the history of Cognos, which started in 1969, became a leader in the Business Intelligence (BI) space and matured its BI and FPM (Financial Performance Management) solutions with its open architecture and enterprise-class technology.
With 23,000 customers worldwide and more than 20 in Pakistan, spanning almost every industry and several solution providers, Cognos along with SPSS, makes an easy choice for the customers, who want to exploit this cutting edge technology of Analytics today. Regional GM for Business Analytics for Middle East Derek Morrison along with the Central and Eastern Europe Regional Technical Specialist Ms Ksenija Rusak came down for this launch event.
