Shujaat phones Altaf; seeks 12-hour time to resolve issues

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President has telephoned MQM chief Altaf Hussain seeking 12-hour time for resolution of all the issues including reconsideration of MQM decision to part ways with the government.
Reportedly, both the leaders discussed a wide range of issues including resignation of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, MQM-PML-Q ties, MQM reservations and overall political situation of the country.
MQM leader Altaf Hussain briefed the PML-Q president about the reasons that forced the MQM to take the extreme decision. He told the senior politician that in the backdrop of government’s undemocratic attitude MQM was left with no other option but to quit the coalition government.
He however made it clear that relations between PML-Q and MQM would remain friendly as and cordial as ever.
