At least eight suspected militants were killed in drone strike on the border between North and South Waziristan, official source said on Monday.
According to official sources, in fresh drone strike on the border between North and South Waziristan, nearby small town of Shawal, US unmanned aircraft fired four missiles which hit a vehicle, killing all eight suspected militants onboard. Sources said that spokesman of Suicidal wing of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Shakir-ullah Shakir was among who have been killed in this strike.
As troops leave Afghanistan defence experts said that securing the violent eastern border with Pakistan has became a priority for US lead collation forces and that include the use of more unmanned drone strikes inside Pakistan.
