Punjab Governor Latif Khosa on Saturday sent the Finance Bill 2011-12 after signing it. According to sources, the summary sent to the governor was initially returned by the Governor’s House with objections that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had signed the summary but it did not carry signatures of the Punjab Assembly (PA) speaker, which was mandatory.
They claimed that the governor, in his remarks, termed the action against the law and directed the Punjab government to resend the summary after compliance.
